Good luck Aimee! Welcome Kate!
Good luck Aimee! Welcome Kate!
We had to say goodbye to the lovely Aimee on the 29th of June 2018: wishing her all the very best for her final year at uni! She will be missed by all of us at Boddington’s. Though it’s not all sad here on the farm as we welcome our new marketing intern Kate, who will hopefully be with us for the next 12 months.

Strawberries for Royal Cornwall
Strawberries for Royal Cornwall
The race is on for strawberries at Royal Cornwall! We’ll be following "Sally Strawberry Plant" on her weekly endeavours to reach maturity. Like our Facebook page for the whole story! Sally Strawberry Plant isn't yet out of her starting blocks; we have prepared the grow bags, containing a specialist blend of free draining peat and perlite, for planting soon. Who might be the lucky person to eat sally’s offspring, when she has matured to perfection in time for the show! The race is on for strawberries at Royal Cornwall! We’ll be following "Sally Strawberry Plant". Like our Facebook page for the whole story!

New Office
Excited to announce our new office is complete. Slowly moving everything in!
Busy Bees
Busy Bees
Our First strawberry flowers are developing in the glasshouse, this means we need to buy in bumble bee colonies for pollination. Unfortunately Colder days recently means less strawberry flowers, therefore we are feeding the hives with supplement pollen to keep the bees working!
Strawberries
Strawberries
Our first strawberries of the year have been planted in the greenhouse! We’ve used Vibrant variety as they’re an early cropping plant, and hopefully be ready in time for Easter. If Mother nature allows!

The Four Teas café
The Four Teas café
Lovely afternoons visit on Wednesday from the owners of The Four Tea’s. They’re a 1940’s themed café based in Strafford. All their scones and cakes are baked fresh on premises using locally sourced ingredients. We’ve been supplying them with jam since 2012, and nice to put a face to a name. Thanks for the visit, be up for jam and scones soon!
