Vacancies for pickers:
Strawberry picking is hard, physical work, so you need to be fit, able, willing and prepared for lifting, carrying and bending for long periods. You will also be required to comply with food hygiene regulations and high standards of quality control.
The day starts at 6am and finishes about lunchtime. We pick everyday, whatever the weather, so you will need wet weather gear as well as sunscreen, and sturdy footwear.
You will be paid on a piecework basis - cash at the end of the day.
We have limited accommodation available on site, but there are campsites nearby.
The picking season starts in early May and finishes in late July, but there is occasional work either side of this period.
We now only run a small group of workers but get in touch if you are interested just in case.
